Improve the efficiency of hot water-using appliances and protect plumbing fixtures from damaging scale buildup. The Kenai Scale Reduction System uses proven science to help prevent scale buildup where it can do the most harm. The SRS works to reduce the ability of minerals in your water to create scale, and it does all of this in a compact unit without the need for salt or chemicals.
Not wanting to use chemicals or salt to solve your water issues is a valid concern. If you’re searching for a salt-free house water system, take a look at Kenai’s Saltless systems. The Anti-Scale Water System that Works to Reduce Hard Water Deposits
Hard water build-up sticks to your pipes, water-using appliances, faucets, fixtures, and can even shorten the life of your water heater.
This causes your home to use more energy to heat your water, and it causes you to use more cleaning chemicals to keep your home spot-free.
The Charger Scale Prep water filter helps prevent scaling so your home can stay cleaner and your expensive appliances can last longer. This system also helps dissolve existing scale buildup!

Frequently Asked Salt Free Water Softener Questions:
How does a salt free water softener work?
Salt free water softeners work by binding the calcium (hard water minerals) in your water but, unlike water softeners, they don’t actually remove the hard water minerals. This allows the system to effectively combat scale buildup in your pipes but doesn’t “soften” water like a traditional salt system would.
What is salt free water softener?
Salt free water softeners aren’t really water softeners at all. They’re water conditioners that crystallize calcium (hard water minerals) but don’t actually remove them. This means that calcium won’t be able to adhere to the insides of your pipes (reducing scale buildup in your plumbing) but it won’t soften your water once it exits the pipes. So if your only need is reducing scale buildup, this system will work for you.
What is the best salt free water softener?
We’re a little biased on what the best salt free water softener is. Here at Elder's Pure Water we sell Kenia salt free systems. If you’re interested in learning more about why our systems are the best and whether or not they are a good fit for your home, contact us at 817-631-4967.
