When it comes to water filtration, we know you’ve got plenty of options. From pitcher filters, refrigerator filters, and countertop systems to under-sink multi-stage reverse osmosis, there’s no lack of choices!
The question is, which is the best option for your home and water quality?
The first step is getting your water tested to understand better what’s in it. Not all filters reduce all types of contaminants. In fact, there are many types of filters on the market for many types of water issues.
A free water test can typically provide the information you need to understand what type of filter is best. A more thorough analysis may be necessary if the basic test comes back with irregularities or high total dissolved solids that can’t be accounted for by common minerals such as calcium, or iron.
From there you can discuss with one of our water professionals which type of filtration will provide you with the highest amount of contaminant reduction in a cost-effective way for your budget.
To learn more about how we can help you get the right water filtration system the first time for the high-quality water you and your family deserve, contact us today at 817-631-4967 or fill out the contact form for a quick response.

This insures that you get a system that not only is leak free, but works.
We make quality, clean water affordable.
The quality of drinking water is on everyone’s mind today. Bottled water sales have skyrocketed. Bottled water is expensive, inconvenient and of questionable quality. How do you get quality water from your own refrigerator and ice maker? How do you get quality water without breaking the bank or your back?
Puromax Delivers

- Quality Water for ice and prepared beverages.
Point of Use (Reverse Osmosis) systems
Use point-of-use (POU) systems to eliminate contaminants from water just prior to the point the water is used or consumed.
Reverse Osmosis systems force water under pressure through a semipermeable membrane and a series of pre-filters then into a storage tank that holds the treated water until it’s needed. A dedicated external faucet is included so that the stored water is only used when desired.
Why Elder's Pure Water Drinking Water Systems? Because We’re Different…
Pre-Filters
The pre-filters have two purposes, one is to clean the water for better consumption, and the second is to prevent the RO membrane from being fouled. The first stage filter reduces sediment materials such as sand, rust, pipe scale, and dirt. It is made of a spun polypropylene material that will take out particles down to 5 -microns.
The Reverse Osmosis Membrane:
This is the heart of the Machine, and the great protector. The membrane is a replication of human or animal stomach tissue, which permits the water molecule to pass through, but holds the dissolved molecules back.
Auto Control:
As water is produced the pressure in the storage tank increases. To stop production of water when the tank is full, an auto control valve is used in the system. The pressure in the tank is set nominally to be 2/3 of the incoming line pressure. When this ratio is reached the autovalve will close. Normal U.S. city water pressure is 60-psi, therefore the tank pressure, when water flow stops, is 40-psi. The purified water goes to the tank where it is stored at pressure as described above. The tank has a bladder in it, and on one side is air at 6-psi, initially. The initial volume of the storage tank is 4.0 gallons.
